10 Day YOU Challenge-4 Books

10 DAY CHALLENGE- MINE

Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to read, HOWEVER.. here are some of my favorite books from the past…

1. THE GREAT GATSBYALL TIME FAVORITE.  I read it for the first time in 6th grade and instantly fell in-love with it… I read it again in high-school AND college and as an adult I try to read it every summer.

2. The Five People You Meet in Heaven– After my grandmother passed away, I was constantly searching for closure…. This books takes the main character Eddie through the five stages of Heaven, in which he felt exactly the same way he did (young, old, healthy, sick, strong, weak) as as did when he knew the person he was meeting.  It made me feel better about her passing… it was such an amazing book, definitely a MUST read if you haven’t.

3. The Twilight Saga…Yep, I read all of the books.  I wasn’t a Twi-Hard… but I definitely liked the story line…. NO JUDGEMENT;)

4.Belly Laughs... I read this when I was pregnant with Brady…. It’s just a funny BUT realistic read about Jenny McCarthy’s pregnancy…. First time pregnancies are hard because there is sooooo much that is unknown.  You’re body goes through so many changes and your hormones are all over the place… it was nice to just lock myself in my bedroom and read this (it took me one day).  I laughed and cried and you know what she was pretty spot on on about everything.  I actually lent it to my friend when she was pregnant and she said it was exactly what she needed and she suggests it to other first time preggies…

What are YOUR must reads… I need some reading material this summer;)

  1. I’ve read all the Twilight books (btw the movies GAVE me belly laughs, lol) and the Great Gatsby is one of my all-time favorite books (don’t care for the new movie), along with To Kill a Mockingbird and Anne of Green Gables. Lately, I’m into biographies, though. But I’ve always wanted to read the Five People You Meet in Heaven! Will have to get that for when I go on vacation this year!

    1. My students would probably cringe when I say this, but I have NEVER read them… My friend ashley keeps telling me to get on the “cool” train… I just haven’t gotten there yet… maybe this summer
