13 junk miles with a side of motivation Monday

No I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth but I did work EVERYday last week and I am beat! I even worked a double on Saturday AND managed to squeeze in a party between shifts. #badass

So after being in my feet all week, I woke up on Sunday feeling drained. None the less I had my vega energy bar and and made Michael drop me off at his parents house for my “15 mile” run. I was falling asleep on the way there so I knew that I was in trouble. The entire run felt labored. I just felt flat, my legs were like lead but I kept pushing forward. By mile 11 I knew I was trouble because my bunion started throbbing and shooting pains into my arch….I HAD to stop at mile 13… Because I knew pushing two more miles would only have hurt me more….

While I may be smiling in the picture above, I am dying inside. My marathon is 2 months away! And I can’t get over this 13 mile hump:/ Today I’m taking a day to rest and reboot…. Hopefully, this week is a better week of training:(

      1. Feeling disappointed isn’t going to do anything but make you feel worse about your training. Be happy that you’re able and motivated to do what you’re doing, because it’s a lot more than some people can/will do. 🙂 Keep pushing with a positive attitude. Be proud of yourself!

  1. You are going to be great in that marathon. Sometimes we just need a little bit of time to reboot. Also I need to know where you got that maxi dress because it is awesome. 🙂

    1. Actually it’s an archiver lol…. I got it at target when I was preggies for Elle but wasn’t telling people;) lol I love this dress but it’s starting to fray at the bottom:(

      I hope everything aligns for this marathon… I’m getting nervous
