No I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth but I did work EVERYday last week and I am beat! I even worked a double on Saturday AND managed to squeeze in a party between shifts. #badass
So after being in my feet all week, I woke up on Sunday feeling drained. None the less I had my vega energy bar and and made Michael drop me off at his parents house for my “15 mile” run. I was falling asleep on the way there so I knew that I was in trouble. The entire run felt labored. I just felt flat, my legs were like lead but I kept pushing forward. By mile 11 I knew I was trouble because my bunion started throbbing and shooting pains into my arch….I HAD to stop at mile 13… Because I knew pushing two more miles would only have hurt me more….
While I may be smiling in the picture above, I am dying inside. My marathon is 2 months away! And I can’t get over this 13 mile hump:/ Today I’m taking a day to rest and reboot…. Hopefully, this week is a better week of training:(
In the meantime here’s some motivation for Monday….
